Josh wants to be friends with Leila. Everyone at school does, because she makes up all the best games. Then she comes up with a new one – a game about ghosts. It’s the best. But maybe it’s starting to get a bit too real?
The Other Way Home is a joyful, big-hearted and very slightly scary show made with 7-11 year-olds in Camden about the games we play, the stories we tell, and what it means to be friends – especially in difficult times.
The show toured London primary schools and community centres in June-July 2023, alongside two special performances at New Diorama.
Our children don’t get many opportunities to watch live theatre so we’re always looking for opportunities to share the magic with them in school – The Other Way Home was such a treat, it was fresh and relevant and exciting and the kids absolutely loved it. King Solomon Academy
An engaging story performed with energy and care, which sparked interesting discussion around friendships, fitting in and responsibility. A brilliant production. Eleanor Palmer Primary School
