Matt’s play Sixty Five Miles was the winner of the Royal Exchange Under 26 Bruntwood Award, and will be produced in London within the next year. In 2006/7 he was one of Paines Plough/Channel 4’s Future Perfect writers. His other work includes Gambling at the Royal Court Theatre Upstairs, Mad Funny Just, which won the Old Vic New Voices Award and was produced at Theatre503. Sentenced at the Union Theatre [Timeout’s Critics Choice and Timeout Pick of the week]. As well as numerous short plays that have been produced at venues including: Shakespeare’s Globe, Liverpool Everyman, Trafalgar Studios, Royal Exchange and the Hampstead Theatre. Matt’s future work includes the full length plays Microcosm and Burning Cars, which will be produced in spring/summer 2009.
